Russia is preparing to send nuclear specialists back to Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, marking a significant step after the recent conflict involving Iran, Israel and the United States. According to Russia's Interfax news agency, state nuclear corporation Rosatom plans to resume sending personnel to the site from the middle of July after evacuating hundreds of staff during the fighting. Bushehr, Iran's only operational nuclear power plant, is also undergoing expansion with two additional reactors being built by Rosatom. The development comes as U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance have argued that recent military strikes significantly set back Iran's nuclear capabilities, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated that Israel will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.
