‘Met Just Days Before…’: Nolan Wells Case Takes New Turn; Mississippi Reps React To Audio Bombshell

Mississippi leaders are paying tribute to 18-year-old Nolan Wells as investigators continue working to determine what happened after the Ocean Springs teen was found dead days after disappearing during a trip to Horn Island.During a special legislative session, members of the Mississippi House of Representatives adjourned proceedings in Wells' memory, with lawmakers remembering him as a role model, mentor and beloved member of the Gulf Coast community. State Rep. Henry Zuber III and Rep. Jeffrey Hulum III praised Wells' character and offered prayers for his family.Gov. Tate Reeves also addressed the closely watched investigation, saying he has confidence in law enforcement and that he has not yet seen evidence suggesting foul play. Reeves added that if investigators uncover evidence of a crime, authorities will pursue the case and hold those responsible accountable.
