Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizens to reduce fuel consumption amid the ongoing West Asia conflict and rising global energy concerns. Speaking in Secunderabad, Modi advised people to use petrol, diesel and gas “with great restraint” and encouraged metro travel, carpooling and maximum use of electric vehicles. He also suggested reviving Covid-era practices such as work-from-home, virtual meetings and online conferences to cut fuel usage.
