At Least 13 Killed, Several Injured In Blast At Fireworks Unit In Kerala's Thrissur

Fire Accident at a fireworks storage facility in Mundathikode, Thrissur district of Kerala led to a major tragedy, killing 13 people and injuring several others, according to the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority. Officials said five victims are in critical condition, while two are admitted in wards and 17 others sustained minor injuries. Kerala Health Minister Veena George directed that specialised treatment be provided and instructed Thrissur Medical College to ensure all arrangements. She also ordered deployment of ambulances, including Kanivu 108 units, to assist rescue and relief operations at the site.
