Thousands of people gathered in Budgam and Leh on Friday to observe 'Youm-e-Quds' and express solidarity with the people of Palestine and Iran. In Budgam, a large congregation assembled at Markazi Imambara before taking out a peaceful rally towards Main Chowk. Simultaneously, in Leh, thousands joined a similar demonstration protesting the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was reportedly killed in Israeli and US strikes on February 28.
