Nine-Seater Plane Crash-Lands Near Rourkela In Odisha, 6 Injured, DGCA Orders Probe

A nine-seater aircraft operated by IndiaOne Air made an emergency landing near Jalda, around 15–20 km from Rourkela in Odisha, on Saturday afternoon after developing a technical snag. The Cessna Grand Caravan EX, flying from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela, issued a Mayday call before landing in an open field at around 1.20 pm. There were four passengers and two crew members onboard, all of whom sustained only minor injuries and were taken to hospital as a precaution. Odisha Commerce and Transport Minister B.B. Jena said the incident was not a major accident. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has been informed, and state officials are expected to assess the site.
