Kerala’s Indian Union Muslim League moves SC after CAA implementation

Kerala’s Indian Union Muslim League party moved to the Supreme Court after CAA implementation. IUML challenged CAA seeking immediate stay on Citizenship Amendment Rules 2024. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that the implementation of CAA is morally and constitutionally wrong and that he is in favour of Congress and INDI Alliance to take the implementation of CAA in the Supreme Court and raise objections against it. On top of that Thiruvananthapuram MP said that Congress will withdraw the provision of CAA if voted to power. Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar "BJP whenever it commits to something in its manifesto, it has a track record of fulfilling it. CAA is something which has been said many years ago in its manifesto and it has fulfilled its commitment before the election."
