On January 19, the Enforcement Directorate issued a renewed summons for questioning Lalu Prasad and his son Tejashwi Yadav regarding the land-for-jobs case. On Monday, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav concluded 10 hours of questioning at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Patna. Security officials escorted the former Bihar chief minister to his vehicle amidst a large gathering of supporters outside the ED office. Accompanied by his daughter Misa Bharti, Lalu Prasad Yadav arrived at the ED office around 11:05 am.Rohini Acharya, Lalu Yadav's daughter based in Singapore, criticized the ED's treatment of her father, alleging inhumane behavior for not allowing any assistant to accompany him.
