DMK’s Senthilkumar apologizes for his 'Gaumutra States' remark at Lok Sabha

DMK MP Senthilkumar has finally apologized for his controversial 'Gaumutra States' remarks, which he made during his address at Lok Sabha debate. During his address at Parliament, DMK leader referred Hindi-speaking states as ‘gaumutra (cow urine) states.’ His derogatory remark triggered a fresh controversy as several Parliamentarians demanded his apology. The DMK MP also said that if these remarks have hurt someone's feelings, then he would not use it again. Senthilkumar’s comments came soon after BJP’s win Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh in the recently concluded Assembly Elections.
