Basavaraj Bommai calls Congress-led Karnataka govt a directionless govt over Cauvery dispute

Amid the tussle between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu over Cauvery water, Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on August 29 called Congress-led Karnataka government a directionless government and said that they won’t be able to protect the interests of the state in inter-state water disputes. “It is a directionless government which is not able to protect the interests of the state in inter-state water disputes, farmers are in despair...If they release more water from Cauvery then no water will be left for Karnataka and its farmers.
